Puλsar Samothraki Art Festival is back at its venue, Ergostasio, under the mountain Saos, in the hidden paradise of the island of Samothraki.
In the course of its 5 years “history”, our festival has offered the public so many different aspects of the rock, post rock, electronica, experimental, ambient, new age greek scene.
On the 9th, 10th and 11th of August, 2019 another independent greek scene spectrum awaits us!
Having incorporated world music and punk into the traditional music of their homeland, Thraki, they are coming to initiate us to their “punkpanigiropsychedelic” sound. Thrax Punks will be reproducing ancient yet timeless stories transposed in their own explosive contemporary aesthetics. [9/8]
From the aegean constellation of “Dream 'n Bass”, operating between Berlin and Mytilini and beyond, Alcalica are bound to move us in their “melancolic and uplifting industrial world music” where electronica meets with the persian santoor, the african kalimba and the baglama. Where poetry is celebrated and danced! [10/8]
Rooted firmly in the punk explosion of the late ’70s, the Last Drive burst into the greek music scene in 1983, captivating audiences and critics alike with their unique speed-trash-garagepunk sound and their explosive gigs.
Following the recording and release of their self/titled album in the spring of 2018, one of the 5 best records of the year, the legendary Last Drive are here to give us some pure, wild and raw
rock 'n roll!! [11/8]
